The NinetyThird by Qatar Airways is an innovative and exclusive members’ club, elevating the premium experience at The O2. As the first of its kind in the UK, the space opened in November 2023 and features a striking platform walkway that offers a unique vantage point above the audience.
AEG approached the project team in 2019 to start designing the space, where it was strategically agreed that the works would be split into two phases – an enabling phase (to create an extended floorplate at the rear of the space) and then the fit-out project would follow once these base build works were complete. Due to Covid, the project was paused after completion of the first phase (enabling works) in line with Government regulations. Once the regulations were lifted and the venue was allowed to reopen in full operation again, works commenced in July 2023 on the fit-out. These works were all completed while The O2 was in full operation and holding events.
The NinetyThird by Qatar Airways opened in November 2023, with the floor space made up of three sophisticated bar spaces, each designed to provide an exceptional social experience. A state-of-the-art open kitchen complements these areas, offering elevated dining options that perfectly match the club’s premium atmosphere.
